MOTHER

Mother's Day is just around the corner!!! I had recently done a craft show and just knew that I needed a few cards for Mother's Day and thought I would share this week some of the cards that I had made . . . . Create with TLC offers a phenomenal club where for every month that you join the cost is $8.95 or you could join for 3 months at the cost of $25. What this includes is images sent to your mailbox on a daily basis including what she is offering on her blog free that you never have to worry about missing an image or sentiment!!! With that being said, my card for today is comprised of such elements.

I thought this French Label featuring a parasol would make a lovely vintage Mother's Day card with just a little bit of added bling and viola:

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • Recollection card stock as a size A2 card (4.25 x 5.5 inch) with scraps as the background
  • image was colored using chalk, gel pen accents and Stickles!!!! (The Stickles Fairy was having a field day with decorating as you can see!!) with rounded corners and chalked around the edges set at a jaunty angle
  • rose vellum sticker on the bottom left corner
  • Darice 1/8-inch satin ribbon tied on
  • rhinestone bling was received as an Angel Kiss along with some beautiful lace
  • sentiment, "Mother: . . . ." had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC with rounded corners and chalked around the edges with some coloring using Prisma Colored Pencils mounted on scrap paper with a banner down the center which was chalked around the edges to achieve an Art Nouveau feel

Thank you for stopping and visiting today and hope you come back again!!!
