Merry Christmas Vintage Card

Create with TLC had some super wonderful images in her Winter Club this year!!! I fell in love with Special Delivery Goodnight Prayers Vintage Tag and just knew that this would be the purrfect card.

I think I captured the magic of Santa and the magic of Christmas with my card for you today!



RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • Recollection red card stock size A2 card with DCWV The Crafty Christmas Stack as the background
  • ribbon wrapped around background and tied in bow was bought last year after Christmas and I found it inn my stash to finish the vintage look
  • Miriam's Crafting Supplies Santa Charm below the bow
  • Special Delivery Good Night Prayers Vintage Tag is from Create with TLC Winter Club and is pre- colored chalked around the edges
  •  "Merry Christmas" sentiment is from Create with TLC Winter Club or can be found here was colored with Whisper Strokes Markers, chalked around the edges with rounded corners
  • background has Martha Stewart Holly Border with marker accent holly berries 



Thought this card has a retro look vintage look!

Christmas Pixie with New Challenge at Create and Inspire

It's a new challenge at Create and Inspire - Are you ready to "create" with us??? The fabulous sponsors for this challenge is Limited Runs and Ikes Art.

I loved this impish Christmas Pixie from Ikes Art and decided to make her look in the Christmas spirit with the holly berries, green hair, and of course a button!!!


RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • card measures 5 x 6.5 inches with The Paper Studio Deck the Halls with Chalk as the background with scrap as the dark red the image is mounted on
  • Martha Stewart Holly border and corner punch around the background
  • Queen & Co. red pearls added to the holly border, for her earring and a piece of Holly in her hair along with her dress
  • Christmas Pixie was colored using Prisma Colored Pencils, Whisper Markers with gel pen accents and of course Stickles accents
  • holly button from my stash of buttons
  • sentiment, "Joy to you this holiday Season" is from Create with TLC Winter Club has Martha Stewart Holly Corner Punch on 3 of the corners, chalked around the edges with faux stitching and gel pen accent berries mounted on matching paper to the front

It's the First of December with a New Challenge at Creative Ladybirds


It's a new month which means it's a new challenge at Creative Ladybirds Creations  where it's always "anything goes" with Bugaboo Stamps and Ikes Art as our fabulous sponsors.

It's been awhile but I decided to be an "over-achiever" and made a card with each of our sponsors. 

Bugaboo Stamps Snow Friends:


RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

  • size A2 card using DCWV The Winter Combo Box of Cards which is a super price when purchased after Christmas
  • scraps were used for the background 
  • Snow Friends was colored using Whisper Markers, Prisma Colored Pencils, gel pen and of course Stickles accents
  • Darice White Satin ribbon wrapped around the background and tied in a bow
  • silver-tone snowflake charm from Miriam's Crafting Supplies
  • sentiment, "The Magic of Christmas never ends and its greatest of gifts are family and friends" was from Create with TLC  Winter Club BUT can also be found here was chalked around the edges and mounted on matching paper as the front 


Ikes Art Kat Tree


RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • size A2 card with Pine Paislee Snow Village for the background 
  • Kat Tree was colored using Whisper Markers, Prisma Colored Pencils, gel pen and of course Stickles accents
  • sentiment, "Wreck the tree and blame the doggies . . . " was from Create with TLC  Winter Club 
  • present button is from my button stash
  • sentiment, "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" was from Create with TLC  Winter Club BUT can also be found here was chalked around the edges and mounted on matching paper as the front

Season's Greetings Special Delivery with New Challenge at Crafty Hazelnut Patterned Paper Challenge

It's a new month which means a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge Blog!!!!!!! Here's a challenge blog you are going to want to enter as she offers a once a month challenge the first of every month AND you can enter as many times you would want as long as you use a patterned paper!!!!!!! 

For my Design Team Project, I am using Special Delivery Santa Stamp Vintage Tag from Create with TLC Winter Club as a card for the upcoming Holly Jolly Craft Bazaar that I have a table this coming weekend.


RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • last year after Christmas, I got a couple of packages of Recollection blank cards with matching envelopes which is what I used for my 5 x 6.5 inch card
  • background is a fun paper from The Paper Studio Deck the Halls with Chalk
  • vintage tag is pre-colored and was chalked around the edges after fussy cut around the edges
  • red and white polka dot ribbon wralpped around the background and tied in a bow
  • Santa charm from Miriam's Crafting Supplies
  • Harvest Gathering Stack as background
  • vintage tag was chalked around the edges and is pre-colored
  • tree button was found in my button stash 
  • sentiment, "Merry Christmas", is from Create with TLC Winter Club is chalked around the edges and mounted on coordinating scraps with matching paper from the front
