If you happened per chance at my blog today, I feel flattered but I wouldn't want you to miss a single lay-out. The hop begins with me. If you hopped by with the help of the stork, then you are on the right delivery path!

As for blog candy today, since we all love some blog candy --- Lynne, Her Craftiness, is offering a surprise package of goodies from her stash! There may be additional goodies along the way, sooo, don't forget to stop at each blog and leave comments as you never know what goodies there were left behind by the stork!

My lay-out is not completely finished and I must apologize. I posted the pictures before the ribbons and before it was glued down but hoping you get the general idea . . .

little jumpers that are photo frames on a hanger with buttons from Make the Cut
booties cut from New Arrival with ribbons and bows
background paper from Nana's Nursery Girls

Now, that you have seen my projected lay-out --- it's time to send you on your merry way to the next stop along the way Kimberly!!!! Again, we wish to congratulate Shawnee and welcome the new precious baby girl, Felicity.

If you just happened to visit me today, I wouldn't want you to miss one single feature! You need to start with Lisa.

My project today is a lay-out of Tinkerbelle, except my Tinkerbell has attitude!!!! Again, I used Mardenz for my svg cutting files!!!! I absolutely love her sitting on the thimble, it is sew appropriate for me to be using!!! She’s sitting there pouting as, of course, any little fairy does when she’s jealous of the “boy”, aka Peter Pan, she loves flirting with a girl, aka Wendy! My background paper is from DCWV Blossom Song stack. The "fairy" dust floating above her head is Recollections! She has both bling for her puff on her shoes while her other pair has a pom pom. The white flowers are from a RAK. The ribbon upon a closer look are butterfly wings which was purchased at Michael's and did I tell you it comes in a lot of amazing colors!!!!

Enuf of the commercials -

I think on this page, I want to put a title of "A Touch of Pink".

There is a great line-up today for the hop and I wouldn't want you to miss a single story:

Guest Designer Wednesday, Laura Davidson

What a great day today to have my friend Laura Davidson, http://www.lauraleesdream.blogspot.com/, who is a very very talented designer!!! She has made an absolutely phenomenal card for you today that I am going to have to learn how to make …

Thanks Lynne for having me today as guest designer! Really enjoyed making this card!

Hi ..Today I made a Diamond Fold card...It is a neat card and fairly easy to make.

I found some very cool shiny paper with umbrella's on it at Up The Street.

I used my Create a Critter for the cute chick and the umbrella. The words April Showers are computer generated and cut out with Spellbinders.

 Thanks for checking out my card and thanks again Lynne for having me!!!

Thank you Laura for being my Guest Designer and you must teach me how to make a card similar to this!!!! Be sure to stop by and give Laura some bloggie love!

God Bless you and thank you for stopping by today!

Welcome to my Scrapping With Lisa Designs Bi-Weekly posting.  This week we are using the zebra pattern, “I’ve been framed” You will find this pattern in the store if you click on this link. (http://www.scrappingwithlisadesigns.com/item_28/I-Was-Framed.htm)

Lisa has created some wonderful patterns that are so versatile.  You will see this versatility as you peruse through my design team sisters blogs.

For my project, I have used the zebra as a frame for my granddaughter Lily. Lily is just starting to walk and run which is why the zebra's legs are a bit wobbly!!! First off, I had to have a pink zebra as Lily is a girl!!! I used a zebra print paper from Michael's in a Recollection stack. The ribbon is absolutely purrfect as it is a black and white zebra print with a pink flower and was only a dollar as a spool!!! The frame also is from Michael's and what a deal at a dollar. Painted the frame black and will put a satin finish on both my zebra and frame when the weather permits.

I wanted to do a close-up for two (2) reasons: 1: to show you a close up of my Zebra's face and 2: show off Lily's face!!! I encourage you to stop by the Facebook fan page and see the work of our wonderful fans as well.  You will find that page by clicking on this link -  (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Scrapping-With-Lisa-Designs/130882060268842). I know you won’t be disappointed.

Please make sure you stop in and visit my design team sister’s blogs as well.  Here are the links.

Walt Disney Animated Movie Blog Hop: Feature Attraction: Lady and the Tramp

Welcome to Walt Disney's Animated Movies Blog Hop!!! What makes this hop phenomenal as in no other hop is that every Friday, we will be paying tribute to different movies SOOOO, you will need to mark you calendars for every Friday for these special blog hops:

April 27: Tinker Bell

Today, we are celebrating all those cute characters that come alive on the screen. If you just happened to visit me today, I wouldn't want you to miss one chime of the clock and would want you to start with Lisa at http://handmadewithlove-lisa.blogspot.com/. If you arrived from Lisa, congrats as you are at the right spot!!!!

I love Lady and the Tramp - now comes the part where I show my age as my brother and I used to walk to the theater in Whitehall from Brentwood to Whitehall Theater for a quarter to see the movies. One of the movies we saw was Lady and the Tramp --- I will never forget the scene with them eating spaghetti behind the restaurant and Tramp sharing his meatball with Lady and with the last piece of spaghetti they both get with the music in the background Bella Notta.

My project today is a can you imagine and visualize this .... this has been one of those weeks and just when things seem ok and crafting is good something jumps in the fire and time is short - my apologies but I will be finishing these today and tomorrow and if its not too much to ask, please stop back again  because I would love for you to see my finished lay-outs.

Recipe:
Mardenz file A Lady and Her Guy (http://www.mardenz.blogspot.com/2010/01/lady-and-her-guy-6-files.html)
Heidi Grace background paper
ribbons from my wonder Secret Sister
characters and wording cut from scraps
Make the Cut to make the title
Lady and the Tramp paper with pictures for Hot Off the Press Disney Classics Pizzazz

The title page are the papers from Pizzazz with the lettering I had made from Make the Cut.... can't you see the beautiful antique style frames for pictures from the yellow paper show below with some bling?

Now, here are our main characters... Lady and the Mystery Guest at this time who wants to be incognito as he believes the law is out to get him cut from Mardenz' A Lady and Her Guy file. Hopefully, it was a misunderstanding and his face will appear soon!!! Now, for the papers, it will be the pretty pink Lady and the Tramp paper pictured below with of course the ribbon .... beautiful!!! (LOL!)

This is part of the visualize this as these papers are beautiful frames to put pictures or journal along with these great brown and pink ribbons - can you see it??? I know you can !!!

The entire line-up for Lady and the Tramp:

Arbor Day Blog Hop

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
...Alfred Joyce Kilmar

In the News: Arbor Day celebrated in Clarksville, 'Tree City USA' as quoted in their local paper:
"I have a saying that trees are one of our utilities, and the reason I say that is because they help clean the air, they help control rainwater runoff, they convert carbon dioxide into oxygen," he said. "What we really have when we have a line of trees around the city is a utility that provides good things for the population without having any cost associated with it."

Today, we are celebrating the wonderment of trees and we welcome you in our celebration. Don't "bark" up the wrong tree as you are standing in our midst!

I love to go to little parks in the area and lay on my back and take pictures of the trees as I see the limbs reaching to the heavens!!!

I have made 2 very simple cards for you today
My first card is a tree that I had drawn and adding sosme leave both by ink and by little leaves cut out. To finish the off this card, I added some great ribbon along with a simple bow.

For my second card, it is a tree that I had found on the internet, muted the colors on ivory paper. Posted it on the same brown paper as my previous card and finished with ribbon and some added bling.

Thank you for visiting us today as we celebrate the lovlieness of our trees. Your next stop along our trail is Kimberly. Thank you for counting our rings and not stumping along the way!

God Bless and thank you for stopping by today
